XBERG 25 Backpack Pannier

The absolute commuter backpack: Thanks to the simple folding mechanism, you can transform the spacious XBERG 25 backpack pannier from deuter into a practical bike bag in no time at all.

In its function as a backpack, the XBERG 25 bag features the comfortable deuter CONTACT SYSTEM back padding – including ventilated shoulder straps. After work, when you want to attach the bike backpack on your bike for the journey home, you fold down the backpack carrying system. This exposes the robust back plate with the BAGFIX mount, which allows you to simply attach the bag to your rack. And then: Get on your bike!

BAGFIX:
Maximum freedom of movement is offered by the newly developed BAGFIX mount. Two guide rails and two hooks incl. 3 reducing inserts (16 – 10 mm tube diameter) ensure reliable hold of the bike bag while riding. This way the load is 100% on the rear wheel and not on your back. When not in use, the bag can be removed from the rear rack in one easy step and used as a shoulder bag.

BLUESIGN:
Bluesign is a strict standard for environmental protection, safety at work and consumer protection. All environmentally-relevant production processes are critically examined and permanently optimised in terms of: choice of materials, energy and water consumption, air emissions, water emissions, noise levels, waste and use of chemicals. Products receive the “bluesign-approved” label when they are made at least 90% from bluesign certified materials.

deuter CONTACT SYSTEM:
The ergonomically shaped back padding of the carrying system nestles against the back and thus distributes the weight of the load evenly. On the one hand, this protects the back and ensures comfort, and on the other hand, loads can be carried most easily close to the body. Spaces between the pads provide pleasant ventilation, just as the breathable and robust 3D Airmesh cover.

GREEN BUTTON (“GRÜNER KNOPF”):
The German textile seal “Grüner Knopf” (Green Button) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. 26 social and ecological criteria are considered for each product. The companies must prove their human rights, social and ecological responsibilities.

PFC FREE:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent finish is free of PFC, making it environmentally-friendly.
